The most valuable resource within any child care organisation - statutory, voluntary or independent - is the staff team. It therefore makes sense to maximise their potential to remain focused, informed, healthy and engaged.

I therefore offer, from within an established and well respected psychotherapeutic paradigm, a range of services designed to successfully impact upon specific area of organisational life - for example:

Targeted, measurable, cost effective training is an integral component of effective service delivery within any successful organisation - and never more so than in the provision of residential, educational and therapeutic services to youngsters within the public care system.

Continuous Professional Development is now a statutory requirement in relation to the majority of staff employed within this sector - and will shortly follow for the remaining occupational groups.

Effective supervision has long been recognised as the key to good practice within the sector - however, those working with our most vulnerable children and young people often reported the process as illusory and focused upon simply 'ticking boxes'.

THIS REPRESENTS A MASSIVE MISMANAGEMENT OF A VALUEABLE RESOURCE - AND WOULD NOT BE TOLERATED IN ANY OTHER SPHERE OF RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.
